Products with an identity that jumps out from the standard.

Development of edgy, male-oriented products that are unorthodox for the Dove brand.

The client requested an edgy, masculine image of stealth aircraft. A global product had been launched earlier in New York, USA, and we aimed to create a product for Japan that followed that image, but had its own personality.

Stealth aircraft-like triangular edge identity.

The symbolic triangular edge of the stealth aircraft is one identity of the product and we proposed a shape that makes use of it. A similar shape was used for the top of the tube product. The shape of the sealing section at the top of the tube, which was not a normal straight line, was unusual for a mass-produced product at the time.

It is possible to study the actual shape of the container to determine how much volume it can actually hold and design a feasible container based on volume calculations and manufacturing suitability.

Accurate 3D modelling technology

The degree to which the triangular line, which is the identity, is produced is examined by putting it into concrete figures based on the image of the hand-drawn sketch. We also examine the bottle’s resistance to falling over, for example. Accurate 3D modelling techniques help to put the world of images into actual form. Structural studies and negotiations with the production department can also be carried out smoothly.

Produce 3D images with graphic designs of products. Highly accurate product images that are almost identical to the actual product can be shared with the client. This can be preceded by a website and promotional activities.
